i stopped blogging just about a year ago. in fact i think my last blog post here on my  msn spaces blog (now windows live spaces - see what happens in a year) was written sept 14th, 2005. that’s my dad’s birthday by the way. he’s had a hell of a year too.

a year ago…

i created an account in second life, now i own my own island

i left microsoft to move to san francisco and work for linden lab, now i just moved from san francisco to seattle and am back at microsoft.

my mom was given three months to live, now she’s still here and looking forward to christmas.

i was a size 10, i am a size 18, i will be a size 10 a year from now

i loved my psp, now i love my ds

the incredible good fortune to work at both linden lab and microsoft; i’m still blown away. and the gift of each additional day that my mom is around to drive me nuts over clean socks and help with her computer. the experience of walking through the mission district every day to and from work. a year later. i am different.
